Unitron uMic is used with Unitron’s streamers (uDirect 2, uDirect 3, or uStream) and is controlled via the streamer. The sound is transmitted from the person you are talking to directly to the streamer and then to your Unitron hearing aids. This allows you to easily and effortlessly hear what the person you are conversing with is saying. With a range of up to 20 meters, it also makes it easy to have a conversation while moving around. uMic frees you from having to stay in close proximity, allowing you to move around the room and go for walks while still engaging in a conversation.

Additionally, Unitron uMic is very easy to operate, with only three buttons. This makes it simple to establish a Bluetooth connection between your streamer and the microphone, as well as control the voice volume on your hearing aids.

Unitron uMic can also be used in front of a speaker when you are visiting others or in public spaces where other accessories are not compatible. This way, you amplify the sound from the speaker and transmit it to your hearing aids.

Unitron uMic can also enhance your TV sound experience where audio output is not available and where Unitron uTV 3 cannot be used. We always recommend using Unitron uTV 3 for the most optimal TV sound experience.

With Unitron uMic, you will always receive phone calls, even when using the microphone. You will receive incoming calls while using Unitron uMic if your mobile phone is connected to your hearing aids. When you receive a call, the sound from uMic will be interrupted, and you will hear a ringtone from your mobile phone.
